Adult, Family and Young Adult Trips

Responding to popular demand, World Horizons has established adult, family and young adult (18-22) trips. The following are brief descriptions of each trip, which ones are community service and which are not. For more informtion about these, please call World Horizons at (203) 707-0565.

Adult Trips

Iceland/England Photography Trip

Photograph fabulous scenery and learn the art of using natural light to do portraits while traveling to Iceland and the northern part of England. Stuart Rabinowitz, director of World Horizons, will lead this trip and instruct participants in many aspects of photography. Stuart studied photography in England and at Rochester Institute of Technology, and operated a commercial photography studio in Connecticut from 1975-2002. He also taught photography at art and private secondary schools in Connecticut.

The nine people that I shared this Iceland adventure with sit in a special part of my heart and I will never forget them. I matured from this trip, and I learned about myself ... Even though my trip only lasted one month, in my mind this was so meaningful... and I will cherish my experience as long as I live."
